I’ll let you in on a little secret. Remember the vertical garden we built as part of a sponsored program for Home Depot? Well, we were assigned the project. We weren’t super excited about it at first with but we ended up really liking it after it was built. That’s the inside scoop. Where am I going with this? Ah, yes. What I really wanted to build was a diy flower tower!
My obsession with agates and geodes runs deep my friends. If you want insight into my former 5-year-old self and why I am fascinated with them– read my post HERE. Today, I am sharing a quick little DIY I did to add a little extra something to some beautiful agate slices I just received.
It’s January so I guess it’s time to get back into the swing of things. I admit that I’ve done a lot of nothing the last few weeks. My daughter was home from college and most of my extended family has been out-of-town all month, so things have been really quiet around here. I seem to function well on “momentum” and I just lost some of that mid-December. Plus we don’t need to talk about the whole “move all of your craft supplies up two flights of stairs” experience. It’s still a mess, hopefully I’ll have photos to share with you sometime this millenium.
Several years ago, I hosted a “How to Decorate” series on my blog and had 20+ talented bloggers share their top decorating secrets. This week we are doing it again! Twenty-five talented bloggers will be sharing with you their top tips and tricks on how to decorate your home. I hope you’ll tune in each day! I am kicking off the series with tips on how to find your decorating style.
I have a love/hate relationship with organizing: I love it once it’s done, but the idea of organizing can be overwhelming. See, I’m all about quick and easy ideas (because, honestly, I’m lazy like that) – so spending hours meticulously organizing just isn’t going to happen. Command™ Brand products are the perfect partner to help get kitchens organized super quick, because they can be used on various surfaces, depending on the product. And bonus, I love the fact that you can put them up quickly on any surface and take them down without damage.
